Anne-Marie Duff is an English actor and narration. Following her graduation from Drama Centre London Duff made television appearances in Trial & Retribution Amongst Women as well as Aristocrats in the mid 1990s. Her first big role was Fiona Gallagher from the UK television series Shameless in the series' initial two seasons. The Virgin Queen (2006) was the next, and she played the title role, Queen Elizabeth. The television series From Darkness (2013) also included her as the protagonist. Duff's filmography includes Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters, Notes on Scandal (2006) French Film (2007) The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before i Go to Sleep (2014) and Suffragette 2015. The roles she played of Shameless and The Virgin Queen Nowhere Boy and Suffragette have earned the actress BAFTA nominations in the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories. In addition, she was recognized with her the BAFTA Cymru Award for Best Actress for her performance in the 2007 television film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff excels as an English award-winning actress. Her career has included performances on the theater, on television and in radio in equal measure. Her role as a mainstream star was Fiona Gallagher in the British comedy-drama TV series Shameless and Queen Elizabeth I in the television mini-series The Virgin Queen.
